Stupendous Stitching on Craftsy
We'll also chat about marketing, reinventing your own unique style, how she plans her day for success and so much more. It's an interview you don't want to miss.

And now a note from our sponsor... When I was first invited to host a quilt cruise I had no idea how I was going to provide sewing machines for up to 60 quilters. After a little research and some very polite inquiries, Janome Canada has graciously sponsored 30+ machines for this cruise. And the classes are so fun and carefree that you will share a machine with your room mate, so we can host up to 60 quilters. This is going to be the cruise of a lifetime!

Have you dreamed about going on a Quilting
Cruise?  Join me and Cathy Miller, The Singing Quilter this fall for the 15-day Aloha Quilt Cruise sponsored by Janome. Includes 8 FULL DAYS of quilting workshops! Prices start as low as $2280 (based on double occupancy.)

And the winning story submitted for the Weekly Quilter's Corner was written by Alison Gurganus. The prize this week is Carol Ann Waugh's book - Stupendous Stitching. I own this book myself and I love it, so congrats Alison!

You could be a Quilter's Corner winner too! I give away all kinds of great prizes like Northcott Fabric, Quilter's Connection Magazines and more. Just send your short quilting story to info@explorefibre.com for a chance to win.

Tuesday Preview - Canadian Quilt Talk Episode # 75

Happy Tuesday everyone! Join me this week on Canadian Quilt Talk for my 75th episode as I interview long arm quilter and all around crafty gal Elizabeth Ruth of www.theruthlesscrafter.com We'll talk about what led her to quilting, her tips for having your first quilt stitched by a professional long arm quilter and more...

Inspired by the quilting stories of the women on her husband's side of the family, Elizabeth started quilting for her own little ones in 2009. Her very first quilt was an ambitious queen sized quilt for her tiny son. She is a lovely example of a quilt professional who has fallen head over heels for long arm quilting and over the past 6 years she has created a storm of activity in her studio learning lessons along the way. She'll be sharing her story and a few wonderful tips along the way.

And now for the winner of this week's Quilter's Corner - Jan Keuster! And the very cool thing about Jan is that she is my very first winner from Hawaii. It is a nice surprise that I have listeners there considering I am going there this fall on the Aloha Quilt Cruise. I hope you'll join me. The prize this week is pretty adorable! Jan will receive 4 crocheted coffee mug cozies from www.theruthlesscrafter.com. She may not need them quite as much as us Canadians here in the frigid cold, but there must be a cool or rainy season in Hawaii where you could use something to warm your hands around a good cup of Joe.

And the final note for today . . . Join me and Cathy Miller, The Singing Quilter this fall for the 15-day Aloha Quilt Cruise sponsored by Janome. Includes 8 FULL DAYS of quilting workshops! Prices start as low as $2280 based on double occupancy.
